Having experience being an investment representative, a financial security advisor, and an associate advisor at three different firms, Terry has seen the securities world from many perspectives. He has received educational training from the Canadian Securities Institute under Wealth Management.
Terry started 20 years ago in the securities industry as an investment representative through an introduction by a personal friend to his firm. The industry quickly grew on him and became a passion.
Terry’s experience as an associate advisor at RBC Dominion Securities was most valuable in contributing to earning his role as the securities specialist. While his investment representative focused on marketing and overall strategy, Terry had the chance to serve clients by providing more detailed advice about their specific portfolios based on their unique circumstances. Doing so helped him develop meaningful relationships with his clients.
Terry is drawn to the securities industry for its exciting unpredictability as well as the opportunity to educate and advise clients on how to help mitigate risks by executing a disciplined strategy that keeps emotion out of the equation.

Outside of work, Terry enjoys working out at the gym, playing in his recreational hockey league and spending time with his wife, Isabel and their puppy, Kona. Together, they love planning their next vacation destination, whether across the ocean or just for the weekend away at a beach side town down the coast.
Terry would like to obtain his pilot’s license in the future and open more doors to new adventures. He believes being passionate about work allows him to enjoy his personal life to the fullest.
